Ahhhhh.... It's good to be back... Well I just had a blast crafting away. Not only did I make ONE project... I couldn't stop there, but I made TWO projects!! They were quite fun and are super adorable (3.5"*3.5" cards)! I made them to give away, but they're so stinkin' cute! Okay, I'll let you be the judge. Onto the projects!
Project 1: Cute Fall Critters
Project 1: Cute Fall Critters
I did a set of small cards, assembly line style. I colored the images with Copics (and even the scalloped circle layers with them), and even did some second-generation stamping with the leaves. I finished off with some extra details, adding highlights with a white gel pen (which really paid off, I think). I could have further embellished with Glossy Accents or a little sparkle, but wanted it to be quick and easy, so I stopped there.

Project 2: Fall Leaves
I mean, really. I couldn't stop myself! They were so easy to make! Talk about no-brainer, guaranteed-success design! Keeping it simple, allowing for slight differences makes each card coordinate and still feel unique.
Going with a different look, I used my distress inks. On the background, after inking it, I used my Versamark pad and dusted with Perfect Pearls in Gold. Because Versamark is a sticky ink, Perfect Pearls sticks well to it (and sets with a little mist of water). I die cut the stitched leaves and inked those with distress ink too (they blend SOOOOO nicely), going with multi-colored fall colors. So fun!
