One of the many things I've been working on lately, I'm very proud and excited about these cards. I created them for a Lawn Fawn Facebook Inspiration [Design] Team call (whew, what a mouthful!)... also known as Lawn Fawn FIT. Really the only rules were to use your Lawn Fawn stamps and show your style! You can enter up to three projects, so there might be another card on the way... I started one, but I'm not completely satisfied with it yet.
I don't want to spoil the surprise... but I've been busy with several projects. I may be quiet, but I'm just doing lots of behind the scenes work. I'm so excited to show you what I've been up to, but we have to be patient. (Can't patience just hurry up and get here already??)
Here's a hint of what I've been doing:
Some companies do NOT allow the customer to use their product to sell handmade items (meanies!) while other companies have restrictions on their use (such as, you must mention the company in your listing; you can sell up to 20 items using this product; etc.). Each company has their own Angel Policy. I want to respect the companies (and not get into trouble!), so I did not want to proceed by posting stuff in my shop without knowing this company's policy.
A day or so ago I had emailed one of my favorite paper companies (My Mind's Eye) and asked if I could make and sell products that have their papers featured. I hadn't seen their Angel Policy on their website, so I had assumed they didn't have an Angel Policy... which made me sad because I love their products so much. Seriously, some of my best projects use their paper. Welllllll... I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Amazingly, they said YES! Alright!! Now we're talking! Now I can post many of my previous projects (only my favorites) in the shop! I'm super excited! Many new things to come shortly!! Woohoo!!! Lesson of the day? It doesn't hurt to ask!! |
