Who am I, you ask? Excellent question. I'm a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a lifelong learner, a perfectionist, silly, creative, quiet, a future teacher, and just a positive person in general. Crafting is my outlet; it lets me express myself and try different things, sometimes succeeding, sometimes learning from those mistakes. But that's what so great about crafting: you don't HAVE to get it "right" every time! Actually, sometimes the messier something looks, the better (i.e. watercoloring)! And mistakes challenge you creatively; it's a great workout! You think, how can I fix this and make it look even better? Not giving up sometimes results in the biggest payoffs.
I started out with scrapbooking, but when the pictures ran out, I found cardmaking a nice alternative. No pictures needed... perfect! And with cardmaking, there's no pressure: if I try something that I don't like, I can just scrap it. I have found that I really like exploring different techniques. I get most of my inspiration from Youtube, where I have learned SO MUCH from many different crafters.
